O2 has completed its purchase of Three Ireland. As a result, the O2.ie site has now been retired and O2 webtexts users must now use Three webtext.

Somewhat confusingly, Three have decided to move O2s webtext system entirely into the Three site, while also running the existing Three webtext site in parallel. So they now have two systems:

  1. webtexts.three.ie (for existing Three customers)
  2. messaging.three.ie (the O2 port, for O2 customers, who are now part of Three)
Update: 3 March 2015

Jelly SMS has now been updated to work with both systems seamlessly. O2 customers should continue to use the ‘O2’ profile in Jelly SMS (with your O2.ie username and password). Do not create a Three.ie profile, as this is for existing Three users only (for now).

O2.ie is now Three.ie
