    Hi! Looks like you have an awesome product here. I would like to know if you could support NTT Docomo of Japan. It seems like they are left out in the dark everywhere and you could be my only hope. Thanks!!

    It would be great if you could provide us something for India. There are millions of sites in India that provide free sms and zillions of users who use them. It would be great if you add some Indian site to list. If you could email me I will find out as many free sms sites as possible.

    Hi!

    I’m from norway and want a cheap way to send sms to my friend whilst I’m in Croatia and she is in Portugal/Greece. So if I am using jelly sms and she replies on her mobilephone, what rates will she use?

    thanks,

      Hi Thomas,

      If you’re friend replies she will get charged the standard international SMS rates specific to her operator. If she also uses Jelly SMS, she will get charged at the lower rates by whatever provider she chooses to sign up with (from our list on JellySMS.com)

      Thanks,
      Finbarr

    Hey,
    it’s a wonderful app indeed, me and many of my friends that use iphone/ipod touch would LOVE to see our provider, Globul, on your list ;] Globul is the only provider here in Bulgaria that offers iPhone, and they also have free SMS service on their myGlobul portal. Globul is also a part of Cosmote Group, one of the largest Eastern EU providers. No SMS app currently offers any support for Bulgaria though 🙁

    Will you be able to add the following functionality to JellySMS in a future update, hopefully soon:
    – it should show the remaining balance (Euro or $) in my Voip account after each SMS sent? This applies to the various Betamx Voip services such as VoipStunt, 12Voip, VoipRaider etc etc. There’s an app called SkySMS that sort of does this already and I think that’s a really cool feature because you then don’t have to log into your online account just to check your balance. Otherwise great app and thanks for all the updates that have been released since I purchased this app!!!

    Hi,
    Followed your tethering link and works intermittently, good when I get it going, tho’ I suspect its vista thats the problem on pc! One big question, when u use it, does it use data from the 1GB, or is it mms data charges which would be hideous? What have u found on ur bill? Best tethering advice on the web, well done!

    Within the last 2-3 days SMSdiscount.com stopped working correctly. I still have plenty of credits with SMSdiscount — not sure why NO SMS can be sent with Jelly SMS via SMSdiscount.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the comment. Jelly SMS will support unicode (special characters like accents/Chinese & Asian/Arabic) for only for My-Cool-SMS. This is coming in the next version which will be out soon when Apple approves it.

    Hi Finbarr,

    Great app. Jelly SMS. Using it in conjunction with ieFoneBook. These collaborations are great.

    I was going to mention in this email that I personally would prefer the send key on the right, and lo and behold you have catered for that in settings. Brilliant! I was really chuffed when I came across that.

    One small issue I see here is that in landscape typing the script goes almost completely out of view making landscape typing a non runner. Will you be able to sort this?

    Regards,

    Liam.

      It is a network issue and you should talk to O2 about it. They are blocking access to O2.ie from some iPhones.

      One way you could test this is to try and log into O2.ie on your iPhone and try and send an SMS (when NOT on wifi). If you cannot do this then you should talk to O2 support as NO app that talks to O2.ie will work including Jelly SMS, My Account or EirText.

    Hey folks,

    I just wanted to provide some feedback to some of your suggestions on providers that we could potentially support in Jelly SMS

    @Tom DeMicke

    – We would love to add support for a major operator like NTT Docomo. do you have any information on what SMS services they provide over the Internet?

    @Heo

    – Yes, I think that all of our supported operators allow the sending of messages to Vietnam. You should compare a number of the service providers to see which offers the best value for you. We recommend my-cool-sms.com and we already have Vietnamese users of this service.

    @Saj
    – smartvoip.com is now supported.

    @Bond
    – I’ve sent a mail to the guys at way2sms.com to see if they are interested in having their service supported by Jelly SMS.
    – I’ve sent you a separate email regarding your suggestion on adding support for other services based in India.

    @Marco
    – I’ve sent you an email regarding your suggestion on adding support for vodafone.it.

    @Yip WM
    – I’ve sent you an email regarding your suggestion on adding support for singtel.com.sg.

    @Emiel
    – Yes, there should be no problem using Jelly SMS from Belgium. You should compare a number of the service providers to see which offers the best value for you. We recommend my-cool-sms.com.

    @Nikolas
    – We would need more information about Cosmote’s service before we could add support for it. I’ve sent you an email about it.

    @Mark
    – Sipgate.de looks quite intertesting. Thanks for the API. That makes it much easier to add support for an operator.

    @Nirav Mehta @attila weiland
    – jumblo.com is now supported.

    @Umar
    – I’ve mailed you looking for more information about the services offered by T-mobile UK.

    @Sidd
    – Support for Smart VoIP was recently added.

    I would like to ask you if it is possible to add prosms.gr in your provider list? ProSMS.gr is an Internet-based service for sending mass or group SMS from the Internet to mobile phones. It is a service aimed solely at business users, offering only large volumes of SMS, and high quality of service, combined with competitive pricing. The HTTP API interface provided by ProSMS.gr supports text and Wap push Short Message submission.In addition, ProSMS.gr HTTP interface supports delivery reports that convey the status of Short Message transmission and the balance of the user. If you are interested in adding Prosms.gr as a provider in your apps please dont hesitate to come in touch. Thank you in advance.
