It is a network issue and you should talk to O2 about it. They are blocking access to O2.ie from some iPhones.

One way you could test this is to try and log into O2.ie on your iPhone and try and send an SMS (when NOT on wifi). If you cannot do this then you should talk to O2 support as NO app that talks to O2.ie will work including Jelly SMS, My Account or EirText.

Having serious problems sending o2 webtexts in ireland. Problem brought to attention of o2 forum and they say it’s your problem! Texts are not sending and there’s no help on the help page.
